A live reseeding demonstration is to take place on the farm of David Ramsey on Thursday the 20th June, hosted by Germinal NI.
Beginning at 11am, the two hour long session aims to cover the benefits of reseeding whilst also addressing soil fertility and weed control in new reseeds.
A number of speakers will be on hand to offer their expertise.
Dr Debbie McConnell, Dairy Grassland Researcher at the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute will be speaking on using GrassCheck to drive grassland productivity.
Dr Mary McEvoy, Technical Development Manager of Germinal Ireland will discuss the benefits of reseeding and variety performance.
Kieran Donohoe from Clarendon Agricare will be sharing best practice for grassland weed control, as well as introducing products to combat this and the benefits of controlling weeds.
A live demonstration of reseeding machinery will follow.
All are welcome and refreshments will be provided, but it is advised to register your interest early.
